How's the work life balance at Pariveda Solutions?
Varies by project and role in terms of peaks and valleys of work hours. Average across our firm is 42 hours/week over many years. That includes community service hours, training, self-study and PTO. We have fkexible practices for part-time, working remote/from home, flextime, LOA, etc. Also generous PTO, sabbaticals and some family oriented activities. 6 weeks paid parental leave for new moms and dads. Moms additionslly receive FMLA leave.
Quite good for most. Average work week is 42 hours including training, PTO, holidays and community service volunteer hours.

How's the vacation policy at Pariveda Solutions?
3 to 4 weeks upon hire depending on level. Anyone can purchase 1 extra week or go in deficit 1 week. 1 week carries over YoY. After 5 years of service, everyone receives an additional week.
Everyone starts with at least 3 weeks PTO, plus they can take up to another week unpaid. 1 week can carry over into the next year and people can go negative up to 1 week in a given year. After 5 years, everyone receives an additional base week. Mid-level hires generally start with 4 weeks and add 1 more at 5 years. There is an additional sabbatical program for management level employees who have 5 years with the firm. People can also donate up to 40 hours per year for employees with special needs for PTO which is needed from time to time.
How long do the interviews usually take at Pariveda Solutions?
For me it was a 2 day process. The first day I spent ~1 hour doing a behavioural interview and then the next day I spent ~4 hours doing a mix of hands on scenario problem solving and a small technical aptitude test to show I could think through programming concepts.

Open-style office, but you're on client site a lot which can range from everyone cramming into a conference room, to individual offices.
