What is the best part about your compensation package?

Fully remote and flexible working ,private health care and a large variety of perks that i value

It's a common set - one day off for birthday or work anniversary, few hours for well-being etc.

The absolute best part of the compensation package at Payara, in my opinion, is the generous professional development budget and time off

Being able to take country-based bank holidays when YOU want to is a big benefit. Lots of other little additions are welcome. The bonus scheme is a little underwhelming and not structured; it's at the SLT discretion. This needs fixing.

Wellness Wednesdays and Mindful Days on top of annual leave make sure that you are always on your top game. You are asked to rate how you feel at every monthly review so it is clearly a priority

I think the flexibility and working from home and also that we all meet personally once a year at some nice place.

Management compares the current salary to the average on the market in the area, but only based on the job title, not the actual job function. This leads to exotic job titles having no comparison, or job titles undervaluing the person's role.
