What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

It's a common set - one day off for birthday or work anniversary, few hours for well-being etc.

The absolute best part of the compensation package at Payara, in my opinion, is the generous professional development budget and time off

health insurance, extra paid time off

The paid time off days

Fully remote and flexible working ,private health care and a large variety of perks that i value

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Management compares the current salary to the average on the market in the area, but only based on the job title, not the actual job function. This leads to exotic job titles having no comparison, or job titles undervaluing the person's role.

Environment Reviews

the sense of belonging to a community of talented people all working to achieve a common purpose. Collaboration and commitment to understanding the individual as a valued person not just a worker

Trust, there is no micro management because of the trust culture.

There are many people I can call and ask for a help -- just pick up a phone. We meet once a year all together on Payara Retreat.

The most positive aspect of Payara's culture and environment is undoubtedly its empowering balance of autonomy and support

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

the TA team ensured communication was relevant and timely and were able to give great advice and information about the role. Having the opportunity to meet a variety of people within the business during interview giving an authentic picture of what it is like to work there

What I liked most about the interview process was how surprisingly relaxed and conversational it felt

The interviewer was patient and took the time to explain, and even help, through the questions and situations we were discussing.

It was years ago -- I met my future manager and I really liked his approach. He was one of the best managers I ever had.

The conversational nature of the interview
