What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The worst company I've ever worked for.
They need to find someone to run the company instead of letting the CEO cause a hostile work environment
Company is taken over by a consulting company at all top level, and focus of these top level execs and department heads are how to fill their own coffers and benefit this one consulting company and eliminate all other vendors and also replace employees with their own contractors.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is not security at this place.
Lowest pay in the industry. Minimal benefits. Not even 401K plan. all you get is basic medical insurance. They do not even provide a laptop. You have to pay for your own laptop, phone and pay for your own internet, even software licenses like MS Words, IDE license etc.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The culture is run by a tyrant that does not understand how to treat people like people
Most of the meetings are just blabbering by pompous executives. Most of the decisions are made in background favoring one consulting company and a show is put on to make it decision with consensus.

Some of the offsite co workers were really pleasant to work with but some in the office were involved in too much politics . Going into the CEO's office, locking the door and talking about other employees is a common practice.
Zero team work. Everyone needs to fend for themselves.

Most people in here are always ready to help. If you need a hand, just ping someone. Everyone knows what to do, so there is nobody watching over your working hours and that kind of stuff. The feeling is that you are respected.

Open discussion about the company's financial position.
They were pretty straightforward and open

It was a one round interview process where the technical background was important, but not more than the personal side. They look for people that share the same vision and have vastly background with programming languages and architectures.

There was more considered than technical skills - I felt like I was also hired because of who I am, not mainly because of what I can deliver.
It was fast. And i think that one of the most important things, at least for me, it's an interview based on trust. My CTO trusted me, i trusted him. That's enough.

There was no interview he takes what he can get and there is terrible attrition due to no direction.

Getting a lot of things done and meeting interestesting people with new ideas.

There is not consistency. The ceo lies to get clients and we are unable to fulfill false promises.
there is no hope for this company unless all execs are replaces with more sensiible people
