Rupert Keeley — Senior Vice President of EMEA at PayPal

Mr. Rupert Keeley serves as Senior Vice President of EMEA of PayPal, Inc. and PayPal Holdings, Inc. Mr. Keeley serves as Senior Vice President of eBay Inc. He manages PayPal's fastest-growing region and responsible for increasing PayPal's presence and capabilities across Asia-Pacific. He has spent more than three decades helping businesses and consumers make the transition from cash and checks to digital payment technologies in Europe, Asia, Africa and the US. He served as Senior Vice President of Asia-Pacific Region at PayPal, Inc. since September 2011. He joined PayPal in 2010. He served as a Group Executive and President for the International businesses of Visa Inc. Mr. Keeley served as Group President of Asia Pacific and CEMEA regions of Visa Inc. from July, 2009 to April 1, 2010. He served as Group President of Asia Pacific and CEMEA Regions at Visa U.S.A. Inc. He served as Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development of Visa U.S.A., Inc. Mr. Keeley served as Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Visa, Inc. September 2008 to August 2009. He served as President of the Asia Pacific region at Visa, Inc. from May 2000 to September 2008 and was responsible for Visa's business across 36 countries. He served as Regional President of Global Customer Management of Visa, Inc. Mr. Keeley joined Visa in February 1999 as Executive Vice President, Special Projects and served as Executive Vice President of Brand, Finance, Administration and Marketing for Visa International a subsidiary of Visa Inc. from September 1999 to May 2000. Prior to joining Visa, he held a number of international senior management roles based in London, Singapore. Prior to joining Visa in 1999, Mr. Keeley worked for Standard Chartered PLC from 1991 to 1999, where his roles included Group Head of Marketing and Planning for the Group's Consumer Banking businesses, Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain and Gulf Consumer Banking Head. Prior to Standard Chartered, he served at Girobank PLC in the UK in corporate banking. He serves as a Non Executive Director of NewDay Cards Ltd. He has served in advisory capacities to Singapore Telecommunications Ltd, Monitise Plc and Yalamanchili International Ptd Ltd. He served as a Non Executive Director of Digital Barriers plc from June 1, 2010 to July 25, 2012. He served as a Director of The Esplanade Co Ltd. He served as a Non-Executive Director of the Infocom Development Authority from 2001 to 2007. He served as a Director of Everbyte Limited. Mr. Keeley holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Cass Business School of City University Business School in London and a Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
