Pella Corporation Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

It was competitive and fair

It use to be profit sharing before the program was stripped down and Pella's leadership teams compensation is more important than partners.

Our benefits are on par with industry standards.

Bonus and Profit Sharing Program

401k profit sharing. I have saved a substantial amount due to that.

Great commission pay, good benefits, and profit sharing.

Vacation is very good, lots of time off.

Great package. Lots of room for growth.

Benefits and vacation time off

My insurance plan and coverage

The best part about my compensation package is that since my location is owned by corporate (Pella), we get yearly raises every February 1st! What a great way to show your employees that you notice their hard work.

Insurance, 401 k, vacation, sick days, weather days

All of it, especially the insurance.

i belonged to the iron workers union, i got my pension from them.

Insurance, vacation and 401K Retirement Plan

Review from Product Dept

Annual bonus and 6% retirment match (montly) and an annual profit sharing of apx 5% of salary.

It has alot of good and bad so

It is fair compared to what you would get at competitors

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I dont believe the company should be equal. They preach "one pella" when in reality theres a lot of skill levels within the company. I in particular work in mes and believe that all of us here are very skilled and should not be viewd as equal to domeone in a band 100 that works on a production line

A raise that keeps up with inflation

My plant dont get same wages or benefits as corporate.

If I had been performing the role that was advertised when I accepted the position, then I would not have had qualms with the starting salary they offered, although I believe it was lower than it should have been. My role was more extensive and carried greater responsibilities than it should have.

Changes in compensation and increased responsibilities have made it clear Pella puts the emphasis on profit over people

bilangual people don't get compensated more for interpreting. Certified trainers don't get compensated more. Water spiders don't get compensated more.

Better work benefits from the company.
