More of a long term vison and treating partners they way that they want to be treated. Leadership acts like people need Pella more than Pella needs partners and customers.
Management and leadership training, hiring and KEEPING quality and qualified workforce.
how they treat employees, how they are focused on these screens showing how many you've made in an hour vs what you could've made. makes my lead a raging lunatic.
Understanding their employees needs better
I think a good relationship with your employees will be suffice. Get to know your employees and see what their needs are.
I dont believe the company should be equal. They preach "one pella" when in reality theres a lot of skill levels within the company. I in particular work in mes and believe that all of us here are very skilled and should not be viewd as equal to domeone in a band 100 that works on a production line
A raise that keeps up with inflation
My plant dont get same wages or benefits as corporate.
If I had been performing the role that was advertised when I accepted the position, then I would not have had qualms with the starting salary they offered, although I believe it was lower than it should have been. My role was more extensive and carried greater responsibilities than it should have.
Changes in compensation and increased responsibilities have made it clear Pella puts the emphasis on profit over people
Actually do there own work, not piggy back on orhers.
Corporate expectations are completely unrealistic
Older people who have been there the longest are struggling wifh the company changing. People gossip way more than they should and make new hires uncomfortable. Troubled coworkers dont get taken care of right away, leading to negative attitudes on the line. People leaving crying and quitting. Etc.
Treating employees better especially after 20 years of service
More focus on quality as opposed to profit
they need to go back to Joans way of thinking of the work place as a family
Management needs more training on how to communicate with their employees. Too many favorites.
Review from Product Dept
LOTS. Pella is going down hill with its culture... even spanish speakers are beginning to notice and want to leave.
Be more selective with individuals
Pay more attention to qualifications , not outside relationships
Sticking to meaningful values and not changing direction with the wind.
An upper management person was part of closing down another local nation serving company and seems to have an attitude against laborers, they should never be able to retire with a substantial retirement according to him.
I believe we're losing quality in exchange for profitability.
We need to look into training the management on the new world that we are in and the value of the employers that have been there for years
Too many bad parts being sent down the lines
