Mr. James P. Andrew, also known as Jim, has been Chief Venturing Officer at Pepsico, Inc since November 9, 2016 and its Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy since February 21, 2017. Mr. Andrew serves as Chairman of Sustainability Board, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer and Executive Vice President of Philips Electronics Australia Limited. Mr. Andrew served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Pepsico, Inc since November 9, 2016 until February 21, 2017. He leads strategy development and strategic planning across all business units and global sectors. He oversees PepsiCo's venture scouting activities, developing and nurturing both global and geography-specific venturing strategies and initiatives. He served as the Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer, Executive Vice President and Chairman of Sustainability Board at Koninklijke Philips N.V until October 23, 2015. Mr. Andrew served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Koninklijke Philips N.V since July 15, 2011. He served as Chief Administrative Officer of Sears Holdings Corporation from March 28, 2016 to August 30, 2016, where he oversaw many corporate functions, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Finance, Procurement, Legal, Human Resources and Communications. Additionally, he was responsible for capability development and cultural transformation across Sears Holdings Corporation. Mr. Andrew served as chief strategy and innovation officer for Royal Philips N.V. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Philips Group Innovation. He had leadership accountability for all elements of strategy and innovation, including Philips Research, venture businesses, Philips Design and Intellectual Property & Standardization. He was instrumental in leading the evolution of innovation at Philips, with a focus on increasing speed-to-market of new products and developing a leaner and more efficient R&D organization. He also led Philips digital transformation. He served as a Senior Partner and Managing Director of The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. He headed BCG's global Innovation Strategy Practice and was a Member of BCG's global Strategy Practice leadership team. Since joining BCG in 1986, he has worked extensively worldwide, including founding and leading BCG's Offices in Mumbai (Bombay) and Singapore. He has worked extensively with leading multi-business, industrial and consumer companies on issues of growth, M&A, international expansion and corporate and business unit strategy. Mr. Andrew started his career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working his way to the role of senior partner over a distinguished 25-year career. He established BCG's Innovation practice, which focused on innovation strategy, portfolio management, product development and speed-to-market. He serves as an Ex-Officio Director of Lupus Research Alliance. He served as a Director of National Safety Council. He is the Lead Author of the highly-acclaimed book Payback: Reaping the Rewards of Innovation (published by Harvard Business School Press), was named as one of Business Week's Top 10 Innovation books for the year. He has appeared on CNBC's Squawk Box and CBS Market Watch. He is one of the judges for the annual Chilean National Innovation Awards. He was appointed by Secretary of Commerce Locke as a Charter Member of the inaugural National Advisory Committee on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE), the council that advises the US administration on key innovation and entrepreneurship issues and supports President Obama's innovation strategy. Mr. Andrew holds an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
