Mr. Kirk Tanner has been the President of North America Beverages and Chief Operating Officer of North America Beverages at Pepsico, Inc. since April 2016 and December 2015 respectively. Mr. Tanner served as President of Global Foodservice at Pepsico, Inc. from 2014 to April 2016. Mr. Tanner served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of West Business Division, which includes the Heartland, Midwest, Texoma, Mountain, Pacific Northwest and California regions at Frito-Lay North America, Inc. since February 2012. Mr. Tanner served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of West Business Division at Frito-Lay, Inc. from 2009 to 2013. Since joined PepsiCo in 1992, he has served in several leadership roles including: Region Vice President of Frito-Lay North America's Mountain Region from 2005 to 2008; Region Vice President of Frito-Lay North America's Mid-America region from 2002 to 2005; and Region Vice President of Frito-Lay North America's California region from 2000 to 2002. Prior to PepsiCo, he worked for Procter & Gamble. His focus is to provide customers with innovative food, beverage, equipment and packaging solutions and to leverage PepsiCo's diverse portfolio of muscular brands led by Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Lipton Iced Tea, Starbucks, Lay's, Doritos, Gatorade, Quaker and Tropicana. In his 24-year PepsiCo career, he has lived and worked in 11 domestic and international locations and has had numerous positions including Vice President of Sales at PepsiCo Impulse (UK and Ireland) from 2008 to 2009. His vast experience across sales, operations, customer marketing, distribution and channel development has given him a deep understanding of PepsiCo's go-to-market systems, both in foods and beverages, as well as the varying needs of customers and consumers all over the world. He has led several successful multi-cultural initiatives that resulted in multiple product introductions across the food and beverage portfolio. He serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah.
