Executive Bio

Mr. Mike Spanos has been Chief Executive Officer of AMENA at Pepsico, Inc. since January 1, 2018. Mr. Spanos served as the Chief Executive Officer of Greater China Region and President of Greater China Region at Pepsico, Inc. from September 2014 to January 1, 2018. Mr. Spanos is a 20-year PepsiCo veteran, responsible for PepsiCo's China business across beverages, foods and dairy. He served as the Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President for PepsiCo North America Beverages. After beginning his PepsiCo career as a Territory Sales Manager and Unit Manager in the Philadelphia Market Unit (MU), he progressed through several leadership positions, including Director of Retail Sales and Vice President/General Manager for the Eastern Virginia MU, Country Manager for Turkey, Vice President of Retail Sales for the Northeast Business Unit (BU) and Vice President/General Manager for the Florida MU. Mr. Spanos also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the West BU. Before joining PepsiCo, he served in the United States Marines Corps from 1987 to 1993. He also serves as Strategic Advisor at ClearVue Partners. Mr. Spanos is a graduate of the US Naval Academy with a BS in history. He received his MS in Organizational Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.
