Mr. Omar Farid has been the President of Middle East & Africa at Pepsico, Inc. since November 17, 2013. Mr. Farid is responsible for leading and driving PepsiCo's business in the Middle East & Africa region. Mr. Farid previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager of GCC Beverages at PepsiCo. Mr. Farid began his PepsiCo career in 1983 as a senior field representative in Egypt. Since then, he held a variety of leadership positions including in SIPCO (Pepsi's bottling company for the western region in Saudi Arabia) General Manager, SSFL (Saudi Snacks Foods Limited) General Manager and General Manager for PepsiCo East Mediterranean and North Africa. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has held leadership positions in food and beverage businesses across the Middle East and Africa and is one of PepsiCo's strongest franchise experts across the globe.
