Executive Bio

Mr. Praveen Someshwar has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific at Pepsico, Inc. since March 2014. Mr. Someshwar served as the Chief Executive Officer for India Foods at Pepsico, Inc., and PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited from June 1, 2012 to 2014. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive of India Beverages at Pepsico, Inc. from March 2012 to June 1, 2012. Mr. Someshwar is responsible for leading PepsiCo India's range of food brands, including the popular snack foods Kurkure, Lay's wafers, Uncle Chipps and Quaker Oats, along with the traditional snacks business under the Lehar brand. He also leads the India Power of One (PO1) Council with responsibility to drive collaboration across the food and beverage businesses. Mr. Someshwar began his career in PepsiCo as Finance Manager in 1994 and has been involved with various functions including sales, general management and finance. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. since March 28, 2014.
