Mr. Laguarta served as the Chief Executive Officer of Europe Sub-Saharan Africa at Pepsico, Inc. from July 8, 2015 to September 1, 2017. Mr. Laguarta served as Chief Executive Officer of Europe at Pepsico, Inc. from January 2015 to July 8, 2015. He served as the President of Developing & Emerging Markets-Europe at Pepsico, Inc., from September 2012 to January 2015. Mr. Laguarta oversaw Eastern and South Eastern Europe. He served as the President of Eastern Europe Region at PepsiCo., from November 2008 to 2012. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Commercial Vice President for PepsiCo Europe. From 2002 to 2006, he was General Manager for Iberia Snacks and Juices. From 1999 to 2001, he served as General Manager for Greece Snacks and Marketing Vice President for Spain Snacks. He joined PepsiCo in January 1996 as a Marketing Vice President for Spain Snacks. Previously, he worked for Chupa Chups, S.A., a Spanish leading confectionary company, where he served several international assignments in Europe and the U.S. He serves as the Chairman of Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods OJSC and has been its Director since April 8, 2011. He holds an MBA from ESADE Business School in Spain and a M&M (Master in International Management) from Thunderbird in the U.S.
