Mr. Vivek Sankaran has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Frito-Lay North America, Inc. at Pepsico, Inc., since April 2016 and February 2016 respectively. Mr. Sankaran served as the Chief Customer Officer at Frito-Lay North America, Inc. from February 2012 to 2014. Mr. Sankaran served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Frito-Lay North America, Inc.'s South business unit from 2011 to 2012, which included its Southeast, Carolina, Central Gulf and Florida regions since January 2011. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development at Pepsico, Inc., from 2009 to 2010, where he was responsible for guiding its strategic direction. Before joining PepsiCo in 2009, he was a Partner at McKinsey and Co. He served several Fortune 100 companies with a focus on retail and high tech. Before working for McKinsey, he served as a Service Engineer for Xerox and a Manufacturing Engineer for Bekaert. Mr. Sankaran has an MBA from the University of Michigan, a Master's degree in Manufacturing from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai.
