Overall positive, especially with coworkers and managers. District manager was alright but put too much pressure on low level minimum wage employees.

There is good consistent communication between managers, district manager, and employees. Corporate has policy in place for passing down information.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are very friendly and willing to help with shift coverage. I really enjoy the culture of love for animals and the way that everyone cares about each other's pets.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that assistant managers are not properly compensated or taken seriously as hard working and important assets of the company. Employees are also often forced to close alone which can be unsafe and inconvenient when trying to complete a series of closing tasks.
