Upper level management (i.e. District Managers, Regional Managers) has very unrealistic expectations for store managers, creating high stress levels for both the managers and the sales associates. High daily & weekly sales and DPT goals is important, but they set the bar a little too high.

An Industry level competitive salary
Same pay and benefits would be better otherwise higher pay would be nice. We do alot. We are customer service, self stockers, key holders, animal caretakers, and cashiers all in one job title.

i get paid minimum wage to do the same things as the manager
The raises for a store manager are the same as an associates. Like .35cents. Come on. Give us a dollar. Give us paid health care or pay out our sick time & vaca time that we aren't able to use instead of it being lost.
Some legacy staff need can be complacent and unwelcoming to newer members
They need higher pay so they want more hours. And will work just as hard as a manager instead of a low paid sales associate standing around
