Feedback is given when required. You are expected to do your work accurately and when you don't feedback is given. Otherwise you work away without interruptions. You also get a yearly review.

A great group interested in doing the best they can with what they are given.

Unfortunately, the top leadership does not like to hear reality if it is not to their expectations. Managers are often promoted for experience, not management ability, and not trained, from there. Some excel, some flounder.
