Mr. Roger J. Pilc has been the Chief Innovative Officer and Executive Vice President of Pitney Bowes Inc. since June 4, 2013. Mr. Pilc joined Pitney Bowes from CA Technologies. Since 2007, he held various leadership roles as a Senior Vice President and General Manager, including leading CA Technologies largest distributed systems management business unit, as well as running another business unit driving CA Technologies growth and market share leadership in cloud systems management. He also led CA Technologies Strategic Alliances and Business Development team and their Service Provider and Industry Vertical solutions initiatives. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Qumas, Limited since November 20, 2006. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of System Management Arts, Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Whale Communications, Ltd. since June 2005. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Management Software Company SMARTS, which enjoyed nearly five-fold revenue growth during his four-year tenure and was bought by EMC. He began his career at management consulting firms Booz Allen Hamilton and McKinsey & Company. Working in New York and London, his client roster spanned telecommunications, finance, consumer goods, defense electronics and aerospace. He has also held senior management positions in the telecommunications and Internet services industry and as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Winstar LLC's e-business solutions division. He served as a Consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and served in various posts at MCI Communications Corp. and Softbank Corp. He served as a Director of Whale Communications, Ltd. since June 2005. Mr. Pilc holds a B.S. in Engineering and a B.A. in Arts and Sciences from Cornell University, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
