Leadership in my area is very unprofessional uncaring and unreasonable. I have witnessed my manager being screamed at by higher ups. They also told me "you just need to work you cant miss it or your fired" when I became homeless and my mental health was deteriorating quickly. Such lack of compassion

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Everything except for working with a disrespectful manager silvana when a dark skin customer comes in an they get her mad she calls them a monkey in Spanish

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The correct compensation if you have experience
The amount of work we were doing did not equal the amount of pay
I feel that they see me as a liar, when to the hospital several times i got scolded like a child. I told my manager that I had an IV attached to my arm pumping nutrients to my body since I wasn't able to get a break and eat something.
I work full time at pollo tropical and I have another job and somehow I still am unable to support myself...while everyone at corporate levels are paid more. Us, the ones who work on the front lines, are paid the least. Literally, we aren't paid enough to deal with what we see every day.
10.50 an hour is not enough.
What are some of the best things about your team?

When we work as a team we get a lot accomplished. During rush hour we can put our heads on straight and get through it as a team.
The employees are always in a good mood like no employees has argued with other employees that I know of

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Ive never been to a company meeting and they could be a bit nicer and slack less
Communication! Kindness, compassion, empathy and friendliness. A certain coworker of mine is very degrading and rude to me...with proper education about empathy and mental health this could change.
Many of my coworkers are just extremely tired and in a bad mood. I prefer not talking to them.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Let the employees have a way to relax better and not punish them when they are sick.
They need to stop asking people to work 12 hours shifts. Others have a family and that should be respected.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Food preparation. Classes for the grill. Presentation . Lear. English
We take too long when it comes to making the food, since sometimes we get swarmed by customers asking for their food as well as the online customers.
Emplyees are being overwirjed. No conpasion when we are tired
I just want my manager to be kinder to me and others.
