The pay and benefits are good, but is it worth it?
Highly competitive and rewards performance.
Flexibility and good options for 401k, roth, employee stock purchase, etc
Prices the employee pays for family coverage are acceptable, however the coverage itself is inadequate. High deductible plans should be illegal. I'm still part of the pension, and am disappointed for the newer employees that it is no longer offered.
salary is good and incentive awards are acceptable
The salary is above market value, and the benefits aren't bad. The company has a matching charitable contribution benefit of $2K/year (amazing), which is managed really nicely--the $ comes out of your paycheck. There's also a very strong top-down culture of community volunteerism.
stock and 401k are great offerings
Some are picked and groomed or REALLY good friends and supported beyond the scope of fair. Others work their butts off and men or envious white women will do everything to smear your name at the company and beyond - even after they return - the hell that never dies unless you go to court.
