It was efficient and proceeded fairly quickly. The questions were well thought out.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People want to do good work for the most part, and there's real desire to improve the overall culture. Support for volunteerism is authentic.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The salary is above market value, and the benefits aren't bad. The company has a matching charitable contribution benefit of $2K/year (amazing), which is managed really nicely--the $ comes out of your paycheck. There's also a very strong top-down culture of community volunteerism.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is smart, curious, hard-working, and helpful. We have the best manager in the history of managers (super competent, focuses on accountability over blame and helps us improve rather than punishes us, and he's an amazing mentor, and hilarious). And we adore each other--nice chemistry.
