How does Praescient Analytics handle HR issues?
HR is great. She's really easy to talk to and can literally help with anything from paychecks to what to do on a Friday night. You can literally go to her for anything
What's the internship program like at Praescient Analytics?
Intern Program is Awesome! I'm working with a group on the Intel Cell where we're doing an entire open source intelligence product on a sensitive problem and get to have face time with the CEO who quality controls and mentors our progress
Does Praescient Analytics have a volunteer program?
I don't think they have an official policy but Praescient does Toys for Tots each year and usually some events like canned food drives, USO stuff, children's support throughout the year. I think they will match your volunteer donations too
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Praescient Analytics?
Come ready to learn. Praescient does some pretty high-tech stuff so the learning curve can be intimidating but totally worth it. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Some of the leaders work at a fast pace but if you just talk with them they'll totally stop what they're doing. Don't think they think you're not up to speed just because you're new
How often do promotions happen at Praescient Analytics?
Maybe I'm missing the question....... when they win contracts or grow out their current ones (like most right?)
What are the most important soft skills I need to be successful at Praescient Analytics?
be a self starter. they treat everyone like adults so if you need your hand held, this is not the place for you. if you are, then you'll like it here
How innovative is Praescient Analytics?
In my opinion, not at all. They reuse other company's technology and don't typically produce anything of their own. They are a body shop, nothing more.
Why work for Praescient Analytics?
Because you don't like yourself very much and are a glutton for punishment?
How do I do well in an interview at Praescient Analytics?
Know your target audience. Look up the latest senior staff (it seems to change yearly). Understand the type of company they are - in general staffing support. If you fit the required skills for a customer opening, and are presentable, open, and friendly, then you should be fine. But like many staffing firms, once that position is no longer around....likely neither are you.

Full tilt 1000% or nothing. And nothing means you are quickly unemployed.
