Executive Bio

Mr. Chris Bailey has been Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Premier, Inc. since October 02, 2017. As senior vice president of strategic accounts, Mr. Bailey leads Premier's focus to drive additional value for members and clients through strategic engagement. In his role, Mr. Bailey and the account teams focus on addressing strategic, unique member challenges, which encompass and leverage the entire Premier portfolio of services and product offerings. Prior to joining Premier, Mr. Bailey led the North American business development team within Accenture's Healthcare Provider practice. While there, he was a member of the leadership team responsible for the business development activities and participating in the portfolio's key pursuits across North America. In addition, Mr. Bailey's recent experience also includes leadership positions with Perot Systems' Healthcare, where he was responsible for the large provider network consulting and outsourcing services growth in the central U.S. He continued in this role through the acquisition of Perot Systems by Dell, Inc. Before Accenture and Perot Systems, Mr. Bailey held various individual and leadership positions at IBM. Most notable, when IBM organized and launched a Life Sciences business unit, Mr. Bailey was the global sales leader responsible for the worldwide business development activities and ultimate sales achievement of the portfolio's newly launched solutions. Mr. Bailey holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Butler University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Purdue University. In addition, Bailey also has completed the Harvard Business School Disruptive Strategy session with Mr. Clayton Christensen.
