Howard H. Friedman ACAS — Chief Underwriting Officer, Chief Actuary and President of Healthcare Professional Liability Group at ProAssurance Corporation

Mr. Howard H. Friedman, ACAS, serves as the Chief Underwriting Officer and Chief Actuary at ProAssurance Corporation and has also been its President of Healthcare Professional Liability Group since January 2014 and served as its Executive Vice President. Mr. Friedman served as the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President and Secretary of ProAssurance Corp. from June 2001 to April 1, 2004. He served as Co-President of Professional Liability Group at ProAssurance Corporation from October 2005 to January 2014. He served as Chief Underwriting Officer of Professional Liability Segment. He served as Chief Actuary of Professional Liability Segment of ProAssurance Corporation. Dr. Friedman has almost 25 years experience in medical professional liability and has been with ProAssurance and its predecessor company for the eight years. Mr. Friedman has served in a number of positions for Medical Assurance since 1996, most recently as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development of Medical Assurance. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. He serves as a Director of MEMH Holdings, Inc.
