Run, don't walk away from seeking employment at this company. They fully expect you to put the company before your family, ( true statement).

The company expects employees to put the company above their family. Family coverage insurance is a joke, $170 a week. 401k is a joke.

This company is comprised of amazingly talented people whose individual strengths create a powerful combination of experience, industry knowledge, craftsmanship, internal collaboration and focused efforts on exceeding customer needs and and expectations. Our culture is more like family that office.

The executive team is a great blend of "long term" (been here since the begging) and "new talent" (leadership added in the past 3 years). This allows for a synergistic working relationship to include the history, mission, and long-term relationships with injections of new ideas and experiences.

The company has been through several changes and is in a stage of growth. The most comfortable thing with this is that everyone grows together and supports one another.

The interview process was actually quite pleasant. All of my questions were answered clearly and the nature of the job and what I'd be expected to do was laid out very well.

It was an intentional conversation - the people I met with seems to really want to know about me and were open to sharing their experience, info about the company and culture, and were open about their needs and the opportunities that I brought to the table.

Nobody upholds the standard. QC tries to do things by the book and ends up being undermined by management in order to meet a deadline. So instead of making sure our product is safe and of quality, oftentimes things get shoved under the rug just to make a quota.
