How's the work life balance at ProtectWise, Inc.?
It's great! Yes, we work hard and solve big problems, but there is a good balance and our leadership knows that our lives outside of ProtectWise are important.
Extremely flexible with the understanding that exceptionally high performance is both the norm and is expected.
The work/life balance at ProtectWise is good. Like any workplace, you need to be cognizant of your desire to work more than expected -- either for special projects or on an on-going basis. Any of us could easily work 9-18 hours a day, if we let ourselves do so, and ProtectWise is no exception. However, there's no expectation for anyone here to do that. If you get your work done, there's no concern about when you're in the office (or online) or not.
What part of ProtectWise, Inc.'s business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
ProtectWise just cut half of its marketing team and brought in a new CFO, which could be indicators of an impending event. I would be cautious when considering employment here, and be sure to do your due diligence to ensure you're not getting into a short-term position.
The sales department at ProtectWise is growing fastest as the product is gaining traction quickly with large, notable customers. All teams are feeling the pressure to keep up, including development, research, marketing, and operations. But that's pretty expected for a startup of this size, and the workload is nothing that these teams can't handle. Everyone is very helpful and ready to pitch in to help. Nobody is left drowning in work.

The marketing team itself was excellent, however more than half of those team members are no longer with the organization. Those who are left are capable, confident, friendly people.

The marketing leadership at ProtectWise was top notch, but that leadership was laid-off and the marketing team was re-aligned to report up through product. So it's not a traditional marketing organization any longer.

It is unlimited. People here are treated as high performing adults with all the expectations and privileges that implies.
What's the interview process like at ProtectWise, Inc.?
The interview process at ProtectWise was lengthy. I had several in-person interviews with my manager, one with his manager, and a few with other executives on the team - both in person and by telephone. Overall the process took somewhere between 4 and 6 weeks. At no time did I feel overly pressured to prove myself, and nobody threw at me questions that were intended to trip me up. It's not that kind of place at all.
