What's the pay like for Operations roles at PwC?
In line with the market. Lower for women.
What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at PwC? How many hours are you working?
Very mixed and different from team to team. Work is flexible. Typically 40 hours but there will be times that it would peak to over 100 (however not usual).
What's the Operations team like at PwC?
Easy to approach. Very political. Arrogant. Important to understand dynamics
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at PwC?
Easy to prepare for. Competency-based interview, written exercise, case review and analysis. Not too difficult. Overall process very slow, impersonal and not transparent. In my experience, what was sold to me differed wildly that the actual role, to the point, that when I arrived, no one knew who had recruited me.
What are some of the best things about your team at PwC?
Smart, young, full of energy, different.
How do the current devs on the team act towards new developers that join?
people are helpful at first, but at the same time keep their distance, until they get to know the new person and get a feel for them. leads get them involved fairly quickly in sprints so that they aren't sitting around idle
