Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?At a minimum raises should be above inflation. As additional workload and responibility is required, there should also be incremental salary increases.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Leadership likes to pile responsibilities on it's developers without promoting their titles or salaries to match the work and responsibilities they have. As a level 1 SWE, I spend my time helping the seniors around me and am rarely able to learn from others things I don't already know.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Be more realistic. We are not robots.
