How does RealScout make decisions around promotions?
Go through your supervisor then upper management decides through performance reviews etc.
That’s a bit tougher. Small company, not a lot of vertical movement. However, tons of experience and opportunities to learn and stretch your skill set.
How's the vacation policy at RealScout?
Two weeks notice
Take the time you need within reason. Everyone has a great work life balance I would say.
What part of RealScout's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Publicity is growing fast but product can’t keep up

Very. I learned SO much

Minimal. Usually at the office like a bbq

Never secure. You’re job is at risk regardless of you being 100% to quota every quarter

No use giving feedback to upper management, it’ll just bite you in the butt. Just keep your nose down and work and put up your numbers.

How little they value talent vs their product.
What's the office layout like at RealScout?
We moved twice while I was there, who knows

What's the pay like for Sales roles at RealScout?
Terrible with little room for advancement. At least they are honest about that.
What's the vibe like in the Sales dept at RealScout? How many hours are you working?
Laid back, lots of calls. You don’t hear anything unless you do something wrong or so something well as is the life Of a salesman. Working 8-10/day
What's the Sales team like at RealScout?
Ad hoc. Constantly changing which is nice. You get to be your own marketing, AM, and CS for the most part
How's the morale at RealScout?
Low. Not a lot of transparency from leadership, always the same “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.” Team is very fragmented and heavily driven by engineering which is quiet and does their own thing. Leadership believes their tech sells itself.
