  • For engineers it's a DTO (Discretionary Time Off) policy, meaning that employees can take as much time as they need, when they need it.

  • For "exempt" (standard non-commission based f/t) employees, we receive Discretionary Time Off. Discretion of yourself and your manager. There is no strict x number of days, so unlimited so to speak, so long as you get your job done.

  • Some offices are dog friendly, like the San Francisco, Lincoln Nebraska, and Vancouver location. Other offices aren't due to landlord restrictions

  • Zillow is pretty casual on dress code. Its best to wear business casual for engineering interview

  • Dependends on your team manager, sometimes you get a manager who are apathy to your career progress and keep shifting your goal for promotion. Luckily Zillow if big enough company where you can move around between team and find another manager that can mentor and guide you to your promotion path.
