The team takes the candidate experience seriously, but also talks to a number of possibilities before making a final decision. That said, it was quick.
What is the dress code at Realtor.com?
Our dress code is totally casual. As we say in our value "People are our foundation," come and be your authentic self.

Not long at all. Very responsive and eager team to find the right people for the right jobs.

What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Realtor.com?
During your first month, meet as many people as possible and listen. Take notes and identify how you can partner well with the talent in place.
Don't be late AT ALL and don't miss any days...they will fire you if you miss a day and are late more than 3 times. So be 100% on time and come in even if you're sick.

They have Saturdays available.

Sort of....they're stuck in their ways but they want to do better.
Not at all. They are always looking at what the competition is doing, and then trying to implement that, rather than looking at what they do best and seeing how that can capture and excite consumers.

Open planned, crowded and sometimes noisy.

Realtor.com should have work flexibility from home as a standard perk.
What do you wish you knew before starting at Realtor.com?
I wish I had known how amazing the people were before. That would have made my search process so much more efficient.

Employees welcoming a new child, including adoptive and foster parents, will now have the opportunity to take up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 4 weeks for secondary caregivers.

Realtor.com has hired a number of recent grads, including those who have gone through our co-op program, and many who are in customer service and sales are recent grads as well.
How's the morale at Realtor.com?
Poor. No one believes in the vision for the company, because there isn't one.
What's the internship program like at Realtor.com?
New. It's only been around for 1 year.
How does Realtor.com handle HR issues?
Poorly. HR is not there to support you.
Why work for Realtor.com?
You like an easy job. Get in by 10, leave by 4 with no risk and no reward.
What's the work from home policy like at Realtor.com?
Horrible. The CEO stated in an all-hands that he preferred that people be in the office. aka work from home is not part of our culture.
How are the benefits at Realtor.com for employees in Product?
Poor. No RSUs, stocks, etc. Non existent to poor bonus structure.
Does Realtor.com drug test or do a background check?
They don’t do drug tests, but background checks appear to be part of the hiring process.
