He started at Amazon.com in 2003, where he led highly successful retail business segments such as the home and garden store. Prior to Amazon, he worked at business consulting firms Bain & Co. and Accenture. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and a master's degree in business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
