What does the leadership team need to get better at?
HR never once spoke to me.
Develop leaders, not just executors. There's a vacuum left by authoritative style as company grows. Myopic focus on discrete metrics. Plan for long term and customer satisfaction over short term contact generation. Invest in make a good core product over chasing every growth opp.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Health insurance, dental, vision, vacation

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Make more commission. Cut out useless middle management.
Salary is too low for what we do.
I know other companies pay higher. Redfin isn't competitive with their pay.
I wish the pay was more competitive to other tech companies.
I would like bi annual reviews and a higher bonus
What are some of the best things about your team?
Friendly and personable and sharing things
Collaboration, teamwork, fun, inviting , helpful
We all work together very well together and chip in when needed.
The people on my team are not only colleagues, they are also close friends and we look out for each other.

My team is very collaborative, not competitive or political.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The only interaction with anyone is via Zoom or Google Meetings, which most people are beyond tired of at this point, Company onboarding & training should be done in person. Redfin is a totally different business model from other brokerages and virtual meetings are not as effective.

Less middle management. Needs to run more like a regular brokerage

Easy the interviewers were welcoming
I was able to meet several levels at Redfin and Titleforward to get a sense of the full picture
Recruiting Department and Management were informative and process was straightforward and not too lengthy. They didn't leave me hanging, wondering what was going on.
