Executive Bio
Ms. Nela Richardson has been Chief Economist of Redfin Corporation since June 2014 and leads its research team. Ms. Richardson joined Redfin most recently from Bloomberg LP, where she was a Senior Economist with Bloomberg Government. She has also held research economist positions at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies and Freddie Mac. At the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), she was a Member of Dodd-Frank financial reform rule-making team. She is a frequent guest expert on housing and economic issues for local and national media.
