What do you like best about the leadership team?
The fact that we have a coach on staff who can help me and the leadership team is incredible.
Innovative, Courageous, Curious, all while being thoughtful, considerate and kind
They are visionary, innovative, creative, and brave.
Setting clear direction. Actually having goals by department. Caring about more than revenue (the creative leadership gets this the most). Getting along.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Driving the company towards a single goal. Separate departments have conflicting goals, growth vs revenue.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Fair pay. Bonus for great work.
Compensation is fair fro the level I am at.
We get a paid 1 months sabbatical after 4 years.

What are some of the best things about your team?
They are different depending on what the company needs - sometimes visionary, sometime celebrating great work & people and sometimes serious when things are tough.
Very smart people who are care about the vision and the people.......

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
People shut down ideas without exploring them. Everyone is defensive. Need to be more open to new ideas, processes, ways of doing things.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all know how to work together stay focused and stay on the same track great minds think alike
We are doing work that matters. People here care about excellence.
There is great energy in making new things happen. People feel they have a voice and it created positive vibes.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
We could move faster if people were empowered to drive. Everyone says "what do execs say?" and then execs give unclear directive.
What did you like most about the interview process?
it was thorough. I felt respected.

Love coming in a solving challenges with my peers. we have so much respect for each other. and we keep it fun.

We've barely scratched the surface in terms of growth. Refinery29 could be a household name if we open our minds and took real risks.
