It's different for every department.
depends on the year and who's running it - but can be very will planned and an incredible learning experience.
How's the vacation policy at Refinery29?

We get a good amount of company holidays. And vacation pay is same as anywhere else... We do get a sabatical after 4 years.

Excellent balance between analytics, strategy and insight. Super creative but with an analytic mind. An influential communicator - can really engage and enroll people in an idea and in finding solutions for challenges. Does not get stuck in problems - is a skilled, optimist.

Incredible people to work with. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Would go tot he end of the world for them.
What do you wish you knew before starting at Refinery29?
That it was super entrepreneurial and scrappy. You are expected to creatively do more with fewer resource than you might have elsewhere. The people who rise to that challenge are really exciting to work with. The one's who can't are a drag on the system.
How hard is it to get promoted at Refinery29?
When you demonstrate strong leadership in your work and strong people leadership (enrolling people in positive change and growth) it is easy to get promoted. Great people get promoted fast.

you can bring them but you need to register them so that we can manage how many pets are in the office at any given time.

Whatever you like. Many are very creative with what they wear because they are creative people. And others are more corporate. it's all over the map. We celebrate individuality which is also represented in what people choose to wear.

as a smaller company its pretty good . we have ppl who move offices (London, NY, LA,Toronto) and ppl who have been promoted up the ranks.
