How's the feedback proccess at Refinery29?
There are a few people in the company who are fantastic about listening - really listening. Then working on solutions with you and who ever needs to be involved. We also do company culture surveys and had some great meetings about those where we got to share what we are thinking.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Refinery29?
Like any job...I always have trouble maintaining a social life. Having said that...I have met many friends here

Always challenged. No day is the same.

Confident, competent, driven, agile, creative people who are positive, optimistic and really clear communicators.
What are the team outings like at Refinery29?
Not sure what you mean? We have lots of casual social outings because we all really like each other. And we get to do tons of fun things like movie screenings, 29 rooms pre screening etc. because of the business we are in.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Refinery29?
That it can be chaotic. You need to be good at managing yourself in times of contstant adjustments that are not always clear.
How's the morale at Refinery29?
Morale is good. It can get tough in Q4 but people are pumped about really exciting new initiatives.

Most diverse work force I have worked in anywhere.

Open spaces everywhere. Bursting at the seems. Makes for a lively office.

Maternity, Paternity leave, Most important though... you get to work on things you actually care about.
