Because Corporate thinks they know better for the customer than their front line employees who deal with the customer every day. Just to be appreciated by Corp. and get paid according to the ACTUAL job requirements.
I've been trained and perform in generating specialty department sales. I directly contribute to the revenues and profitability of the corporation.
