What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very honest with everyone
They promote teamwork and are part of the team

They need to realize that their individual store staff know their stores better than them.

Very risky job all around

Because Corporate thinks they know better for the customer than their front line employees who deal with the customer every day. Just to be appreciated by Corp. and get paid according to the ACTUAL job requirements.
I've been trained and perform in generating specialty department sales. I directly contribute to the revenues and profitability of the corporation. And yet I receive the same compensation as any other associate of the same tenure, regardless of their contribution, and in fact, many times, lack of it
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work as a family and treat each other with respect.
Our specialty department team is the best.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Always a way to learn
All the store employees are like family
Mostly good. Many experienced associates are put off by the pay policy. Experience doesn't seem to matter.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Being more concerned with the employees and customer as much as they are with the bottom line.

Providing service and convenience to our valued customers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We have an owner that has never worked or owned a retail business and his ONLY concern is how much money he can make or write off.
