Nan Mattai — Senior Vice President of Engineering & Information Technology at Rockwell Collins

Ms. Nan Mattai has been Senior Vice President of Engineering and Information Technology at Rockwell Collins Inc. since August 2015. Ms. Mattai is responsible for Rockwell Collins' Engineering & Technology organization, including the Advanced Technology Center. She joined Rockwell Collins Inc. in 1993 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including senior director of Tactical Communications, Government Systems. Ms. Mattai served as Senior Vice President of Engineering & Technology at Rockwell Collins Inc. from November 2004 to August 2015. Ms. Mattai served as Vice President, Government Systems Engineering of Rockwell Collins from June 2001 to October 2004; Senior Director, Tactical Communications, Government Systems of Rockwell Collins, Inc. a subsidiary of Rockwell, from June 2000 to May 2001; Director, Wide Band Communications Engineering of Rockwell Collins, Inc. Ms. Mattai serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Aviation Week Strategic Media & Conferences, an Executive Member of the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a member of Women in Engineering (WIE), and a Member of the Iowa State University Institute for Physical Research and Technology (IPRT) Industrial Advisory Board. Ms. Mattai graduated from the University of Windsor, Canada with a Masters degree in Nuclear Physics and completed all graduate courses for a Doctorate in Physics.
