Pay levels lag behind comparable companies in comparable roles requiring masters-and-above education. Most benefits are middling at best. Lack of stock options (private compan) is not offset by the measly bonus offering. "Racine is cheap to live in" is not a credible defense.
Raises are always pennies no matter how hard you work. No clear objectives are ever laid out to obtain the compensation desired.
Few sick days. Little to no vacation days. Suspicious ways of counting years (the New Year specifically) to make employees use more sick days (because vacation days are not a thing) than necessary.

Helpful communication. A less competitive and cut throat environment could actually be beneficial. Look at the downfall of Enron oil, gas, and electricity. It became a brutal fight of man against man as 25% of the workforce was fired every term. Learn from others' mistakes.
Free sunscreen doesn't make employees excited. Clear communication on the direction of the company would work better. Maybe the illustrious Fisk could come from up on high and mingle with us peasants once in a while, instead of opening another pretentious exhibit in Chicago
