What should I wear for an interview at Safebuilt?
This depends on your role, and regional offices versus corporate office(Loveland Colorado). For regional, non-management roles, men would do fine wearing a dress shirt, slacks, and nice shoes. At the Loveland office, a standard blue/grey suit and tie is the way to go for nearly any role.
Does Safebuilt drug test or do a background check?
Yes SAFEbuilt does do both drug test and background check.
What's the internship program like at Safebuilt?
The Safebuilt Training Program (STP) is great. The program is focus on finding individuals who want a career, not a job, and show a good work ethic and are focused on succeeding. The program turns out great professional who are offered full-time jobs at the end. The STP graduates stay with the company for many many years.
How does Safebuilt handle HR issues?
The new HR team is great and effective. They approach things in a professional manner with the goal of doing what is right for the employees and the business. Few hard and fast rules and instead look at how to make things happen instead of saying no. The old HR team was very police like and rules driven. Great change!

What's the work from home policy like at Safebuilt?
Management is flexible. There is a serious review of business needs and roles are looked at on an individual basis. Fair process with good support for those working virtually.

How common are layoffs at Safebuilt?
Every once in a while one or two operations employees are laid off. Really pretty seldom and not if you are in a busy region. Basically no layoffs at corporate office.
How's the feedback proccess at Safebuilt?
Honestly quite minimal. At many times I wish I had more feedback. It's so relaxed I typically don't get a lot.
How can I improve my chances of being hired at Safebuilt?
Connect with the core values, and be relaxed/friendly confident instead of "type A" confident.
How secure do you feel at your job at Safebuilt?
My job seems pretty secure for now because the company probably won't be sold for at least a few years.
What's the best part of your job at Safebuilt?
The casual, friendly atmosphere. Overall nice people.
How do you feel about Safebuilt's future?
Short-term organic growth has been slow. There are a lot of possible large new contracts, but they haven't been executed yet. The Private Equity company pushes SAFEbuilt to grow inorganically, but we haven't done real acquisitions since Sept 2016 and one of the old ones is still not integrated.
How's the work pace at Safebuilt?
Quite casual, honor system, just try to get things done.
How challenged are you at Safebuilt?
Really not very challenged. A lot of the corporate office is under-utilized.
