Freedom to justify what I need... And I get it- You do need to have a great reason, and I respect that.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being paid a living wage, obviously.
More professional interpersonal interactions. Less personal insults and abusive behavior. Compensation commensurated with qualifications and experience
Undervalue sales people, comp packages and structure, given company’s product roll out are about aligned and set up sales people for failure

Majority of colleagues are highly motivated and inspiring people.

It is such a casual environment where I feel like I can talk to anyone. There are also a bunch of clinches and little cubbies in the wall if Yu need to take a break and do some work away from your desk

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Not relying on contractors as a crutch and paying the lowest level people a living wage, particularly if the company is going to flaunt its millions in gross profits and growth year over year.
Fairness in evaluation, salary adjustments and overall eradication of HR based decision making

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The contractors and lowest level employees are not paid a living wage. Like so many businesses in America, those sitting at the top are absorbing hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation and/or millions in profits while the rest of us struggle to pay rent. Stop being evil. Pay a living wage.
Open office is horrible.
