They cannot improve. They are destroying what Sovereign Bank built. They have zero interest in the communities and customers. They take and take, but never give. Disgusting people!

Communication with their employees, accepting that they need to be just as involved with out of the way branches as others, and understanding the community their branches are located in.

Remove the sales aspect/tactics. Foster development of relationships with clients

Complete double standard the managers do as little as possible

Be involved more spending time with staff and perhaps taking calls and working the system to understand tge pressures. They focus more on absent staff rather than those who are more reliable. We have lost some amazing managers over the last 12 months. Their knowledge and people skills are missed.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Benefits are awesome. Definitely the best I've had in the industry. But the trade off is that I feel like I'm selling my soul working for an entity with so little concern for the experience of their customer.

6% match and decent cash payouts

Pay that reflects my knowledge and abilities. Seperate sick days from vacation days. Time to actually use the "benefits" they offer.

I feel as per market standards the pay is low

The volunteering in my branch neighborhood and the giving back to the community.

At branch level, the staff are very helpful and customer focused

My branch team. We care about our community even though Santander does nit.

Respectful, supportive, fair, simple and customer friendly

People are very, overly interested in getting along with others. I didn't like this at first but it's a good way to build trust I suppose.

They need to fix employee retention at the branch level, everything flows from that.

Supervisors should be prepared for unexpected problems. The computers and software is outdated.
