Michael Henderson — Senior VP & Co-President of Auto & Metals Recycling Business at Schnitzer Steel Industries

Mr. Michael Henderson, also known as Mike, serves as Senior Vice President at Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. and has been its Co-President of Auto & Metals Recycling Business since April 2015. He served as President of Metals Recycling Business at Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. from August 2013 to April 2015. Mr. Henderson joined Schnitzer in April 2012 as Chief Operating Officer of the Metals Recycling Business. Prior to joining Schnitzer, he served as Eastern Region President for Sims Metal Management where he was responsible for 26 facilities, including four shredders and five port locations. Mr. Henderson began his career with Naparano Iron & Metal and has more than 30 years in the scrap industry, including expertise in both the ferrous and nonferrous sides of the business.
