What's the internship program like at Sentera?
It depends a lot on your technical area. You can find yourself out in the field evaluating sensor performance or in the office doing ML and vision work or doing more standard GIS data processing. As an intern, I found the work extremely challenging but people were around to help me. Compared to prior internships a lot more challenging and a higher percentage of time spent on technical work than on company activities or business things. I learned a lot and would love to work for this company someday.
What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the Engineering department at Sentera?
They will ask a mix of specific questions based on what you have on your resume, and general questions to see how you solve problems. Good questions, but no gotcha questions.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Sentera?
I had a very specific skillset on my resume. They asked me to present the algorithm used, how I implemented it, considerations in my thought process.
