Out of 20 Shelf Engine employee reviews, 67% were positive. The remaining 33% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping Shelf Engine improve their work culture.
Retention of customers and employees.
Salary transparency, credit given where it's due, leadership acknowledging work done to build culture.
Women get paid less than men in the same roles. Transparency around total compensation package and adjustments based on those values.
The benefits leave much to be wished for (Cigna for health insurance, only 2 weeks maternity leave, no 401k matching). Salaries for engineers are spread out considerably and it's not clear what salary bands are expected per level.
