How employees describe working at Shotzoom Software
It's been a great ride so far. I work with may of the same people that I started with years later and we all still enjoy the work we do. I think that says a lot about our products and culture.
Overall, the company had a vision that slowly decayed over the years and ideas and opportunities were supplanted by one-off business deals and brutal, unrealistic timelines.
Not micromanaging. You hire people based on having skills and taking their own initiative, not so you can double check and change everything they do. Furthermore, stop making awful biz dev deals with your "friends". Put the business first and let your employees innovate.
