What did you like most about the interview process?
Everyone seemed nice, but boy did they show their true colors once they trapped you.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Learn from the Wizard of Oz. Give the head of Technology a brain, the head of Product a heart, and the head of Marketing courage.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Those who could not or would not leave face a common enemy--our management and so we find ways to stick together and help each other where our executive team will not.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They're beyond help. I'd normally say they should treat their employees as humans, but that ship has sailed. They are amoral psychopaths who have one goal--to pump the stock price using whatever means possible.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Wall Street and executives conflate a rising stock price with a successful company. All it means is that they've convinced a few Wall Street analysts to be bullish on the company. Watch for the dump after a few quarters of the Product team delivering products that no customer wants.
