All trial members are sent a reminder email three days before their trial period ends. If you do not wish to become a paid member after your trial, you can cancel your subscription in the Payments section of your Account Settings.

You can watchany of our free classes or sign up for a Premium Membership for access to over 20K+ classes in our Premium catalog.

We offer more than 20K classes in 4 main categories (Creative, Business, Technology, and Lifestyle) and over 30 subcategories.

Click on Home at the top of your screen to see classes recommended for you based on the skills and teachers you follow,and the classes you've watched previously.Simply hover your mouse and clickSaveon any class or list you might want to add to yourYour Classespage.

You can adjust the Skills you follow at the bottom of your Home page to improve your recommendations.

If you'd like to check out otherclasses, go to our main Classes page by clicking Browse > Classes at the top of the page. Tofilter the classes, simply scroll down and click any of the See All buttons.

On the next page, feel free tofilter your search results as you please! You can sort by Trending, Popular, or New classes. You can also filter by Class type (Premium / Free), Social (Teachers I Follow), and Class Lengthby ticking on the boxes that you'd like to apply to your search.

There are two ways to post projects on Skillshare! If you'd like a create a project for a specific class you are taking, head to the "Projects & Resources"tab within the class.From here, click Create Project, follow the prompts relevant for your project, and then click Publish once finalized.

You can also upload a project directly to your profile. Do this by clicking on the "Edit Profile" button at the top of your profile page, then click on the "Create Project" box.Uploading your work from outside of Skillshare (i.e. for your job, for a client, or just for fun) on your profile is a great way to showcase your skills and get discovered on the platform!

When uploading content to your project, you are able to select a Cover Image for your project by clicking "Upload Image".The cover image is the image that is displayed on your profile, and the ideal size for this is 690 x 388 pixels.If you'd like to add images within the body of your project, click the "Image" button under "Add Content".Your in-project images shouldbe 1000 x 690 pixels for them to display properly, andcannot exceed 2MB in size.

Click the Share icon under the video and you can select which platform you want to share the class on, or send the class directly via an email address. Thanks for spreading the word!

Once you've watched several minutes of a class, you'll automatically receive updates each time the teacher posts a new Discussion. If you don't want to receive notifications for a specific class, head to Email Notifications within your Account Settings. Under Updates from Classes You're Taking, click the "Edit Individual Classes" link, and uncheck that specific class.

Meanwhile, if you'd like to remove a class from the Your Classes section of your account, go toContinue Watching, select the "Hide Classes I've Marked as Complete" button, and then hover and choose "Mark as Complete" on any classes you'd like to remove from view.

To edit a review, head to the Reviews tab of the class, and click the Edit My Review button on the right-hand side. You can also edit your review by locating your review in the list of all reviews for the class within the Reviews tab and selecting the Edit button beneath it.

To delete a review, locate your review in the list of all reviews for the class within the Reviews tab, and click the Delete button beneath it.

To create a project for your class, simply head to theProjects & Resources tab of your class page and click on the Create Project button at the right side of the page.

Meanwhile, if you've joined a Workshop, head to the Projects tabof your Workshop's page and click the Start a Project button to see the links to your class project guides.Your project will be viewable within the Project tab of those class(es), as well as onthe Workshop you've joined.

TIP: You can check out the Student Projectssection of your classes and workshops to seewho else is participating to give and get feedback from your classmates!

Visit the "Refer a Friendsection of your account to view your referral history.

Youll be able to see how many invitationsyou'vesent out, how many monthsyou'veearned, and how many months you have remaining before your next charge.

ODDS

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Entry Period.

Final Prize Winners will be selected based on 1) Adherence to Publishing Guidelines as explained here. Winner will be notified by email and/or mail and at the judges discretion. Winners must submit an Affidavit of Eligibility within 5 days of being informed of winning. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. 1. What is the payment structure for Team plans?

All team memberships are on an annual contract. For teams of 2-19 users, our plan costs $99 per user per year.

2.Can I pay monthly for a Team plan?

No, our team memberships are on an annual contract.

3. Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes. We offer discounts, depending on use case and number of seats. Please request a demo or contact [email protected] to further discuss.

4. Do you work with nonprofits, libraries, and/or schools?

5. Can I switch out seat assignments during my annual contract?

User access can be revoked only when a user leaves the organization. That users seat can then be re-assigned to a new employee. With the number of courses on Skillshare (22,000+), we want to ensure a hyper-personalized experience for each user to help surface and recommend relevant courses that are in-line with their learning interests and goals so our seats cannot be rotated.

6. Can I add extra seats during my annual contract?

Yes. You can add seats via the Admin Panel at any time throughout your contract. The cost of any additional seats are prorated to ensure fluidity of your annual contract.

7. Can I be refunded for any unused seats?

No.

What capabilities do Admins have?

Admins will have access to the Admin panel on Skillshare. In the Admin Panel, an admin is able to manage billing, invite users, add seats, and revoke user access.

Does an Admin use up one of the seats on the plan?

Yes.

Can multiple people have Admin access?

Yes. Once a person has set up their account, you are able to grant them admin access.

Can I add an employee who already has a Skillshare account?

Yes.

Can I assign courses to specific users through the platform?

Unfortunately, not at this time. However, you are able to add courses to your calendar from the course page and add users via the calendar invite on Google, Outlook, Apple, and Yahoo.

7. Winner Notification

The winners will be notified by email. Upon successful contact with a Selected Entrant, that Selected Entrant will be required to provide certain contact information, as requested by the Sponsor (e.g., full name, email address). Through a minimum of 10 minutes of video content, teachers show students how to complete a fun and engaging project that they can upload to the class project gallery for feedback. To ensure students have the best possible learning experience, we also require all classes to meet our audio/visual standards as outlined in the class publishing checklist.

Adhere to our Community Guidelines:

We take the safety of our community seriously, which means all classes must meet our Community Guidelines. Teachers must be the primary content producer behind their classes, post legal content, and interact with students and members of our team with respect. Teachers may not publish classes into our Premium catalog that are available for free off of Skillshare (learn more here ).

Meet our minimum standards for educational value:

Skillshare classes are actionable and inspiring. Teachers draw on personal knowledge and experience to share meaningful concepts, ideas, tips, and best practices that students can incorporate into their own work and projects. Specific standards to keep in mind include:

Classes must contain an introduction video that outlines what students can expect to learn in the class.

Classes must be based upon a lesson plan or course outline. Classes may not consist simply of a walkthrough, review, or demo of a certain website or tool without any added knowledge-based value from the teacher.

Demonstrations must be instructionally narrated by the teacher, and focus on the skills required to complete the class project with specific tips, insights and best practices included.

Classes may not draw from external materials that did not originate with the teacher for a significant portion of the class.

Each class or video section should only be uploaded once. Classes that are overly repetitive in content may be removed.

Marketing or self-promotion (including business or website logos) of the teacher within the class should be limited to the intro and outro portions of the video only.

Classes should be made for Skillshare, and not branded for any other online teaching platforms. Teachers should not direct students to competing educational platforms.

Additional Rules on Teaching:

Teachers may upload a maximum of 1 class per week.

You are fully responsible for the ownership of the content you share on Skillshare, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for violations of intellectual property rights or impersonation. 4. Contest Period

The Contest begins on June 14, 2019 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on July 11, 2019 at 11:59 PM EST (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.

5. How to Enter

To enter the Contest, user must upload a project (Entry) to www.Skillshare.com [update with link] within the Contest Period. This method of entry will be available by visiting any class page from the 10 Contest classesand following the directions provided to upload your project or by visiting www.Skillshare.com/Projects [update] and uploading a project through theCreate A Projectbutton.

All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries may not contain content that is obscene, lewd, defamatory, pornographic, hateful or discriminatory, violates these Official Rules, or violates or infringes (or may infringe) any copyright, trademark, logo, mark that identifies a brand, or other personal or proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity, or is otherwise objectionable. Any Entry that, in Sponsors sole determination, violates the terms and conditions set forth in this paragraph or any other part of the Official Rules may be disqualified and the Entrant submitting the Entry may be disqualified from any further participation in the Contest. In consideration of their entry into this Contest, each Entrant irrevocably assigns and transfers to the Sponsor any and all rights, title, and interest in the Entry including, without limitation, all copyright in any Entry. The Sponsor shall have the right to edit or modify Entries for use in perpetuity and the Entrant waives any and all moral rights that he/she may have in the Entry. Each Entrant irrevocably confirms that no third party was involved in the creation of the Entry.

6. Prize Drawing

On or about August 1, 2019, the Sponsor will select ten (10) winners among all eligible entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winners via telephone or email. If the potential winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within five (5) days after the date of the first point of contact (or attempt) by the Sponsor, he/she will be considered to have forfeited his/her respective Prize and will be disqualified and another Entrant may be selected from the remaining eligible Entries until such time as contact is made with each Selected Entrant, there are no more eligible Entries, or there is insufficient time to award a Prize, whichever comes first. The Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact any Selected Entrant.

7. Winner Notification

The winners will be notified by email. Upon successful contact with a Selected Entrant, that Selected Entrant will be required to provide certain contact information, as requested by the Sponsor (e.g., full name, email address). If Selected Entrant does not comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules or provide the necessary contact information within the time frame specified, that Selected Entrant will forfeit his/her Prize and the Sponsor shall be entitled (but not obligated) to select another Entrant from the remaining eligible Entries until such time as contact is made with an Entrant or there are no more eligible Entries, whichever comes first. This process may continue until each Prize has been awarded or there is insufficient time to permit the awarding of a. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by selecting from among all remaining eligible entries.
